Hi, I’m Stacie J. Whitaker-Harris. My journey to healing and empowerment has been far from conventional, and I’m grateful for the lessons each chapter has taught me. My story is one shaped by resilience, born from personal struggles with ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences), domestic violence, grief, loss, and other life challenges. It wasn’t easy, but it’s why I’m here today: to support others facing their storms and to guide them toward wholeness and renewal.
I know what it feels like to be overwhelmed by the weight of life’s trials—sometimes even feeling like you're standing alone in the storm. But here’s what I’ve learned: healing is not just possible, it’s within reach. And I’m here to walk with you, whether you’re facing mental health challenges, traumatic experiences, or simply seeking a new path forward.
In addition to my personal journey, I am a Minister of the Gospel, Author, Poet, Vocalist, Inspirational Speaker, and Mental Health Advocate. I use my voice to bring attention to the issues that matter, particularly to women of color managing life’s obstacles.
I’ve authored Hell & Heaven at 8, co-authored The Whitaker Book of Poetry, and contributed to several publications, including Permission to Feel & Heal and What Goes On In My House Stays In My House: Breaking My Silence for My Sanity. My writings and speaking engagements reflect my commitment to helping others reclaim their mental, physical, and spiritual health. I’ve had the privilege of speaking at events like the Revolutionary Christian Literacy Conference, the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s BSU Leadership Conference, and Zion Oasis Empowerment Ministries, among others. I’ve also been honored to facilitate discussions around mental wellness and campus safety, and I’m passionate about creating spaces for women to connect and heal.
I hold a Master’s in Law with a Business Focus and a Bachelor’s in Nonprofit Management. My experience includes working as a Behavioral Health Professional, and I currently serve as a Research Technician and Physical Activity Coach at Arizona State University.
Above all, I’m a proud mother of three amazing young adults (My Jewels) and a fur baby who brings me joy every day. They are my inspiration and my constant reminder that resilience, love, and growth are possible, no matter where life takes you.
I believe in the power of connection, creativity, and community—and I am here to support you in unlocking your full potential for healing and transformation. Together, we will pave the way for a future filled with joy, purpose, and peace.
